The DansEncorps Company's new creation

The DansEncorps company, currently composed of six professional dancers, presented works at the 8th edition of the adFdathe Kinetic Studio series in Halifax and the Harvest Art Festival in Tracadie last fall. The company continues its season with a new creation dedicated to elementary school children.

In co-production with the Company  PPS Danse from Montreal, a new creation, La danse raconte, is a show for young audiences that permeates tales from Jacques Prévert. Thus, during March Break, a first story was created by the choreographer and artistic director of PPS Danse, Pierre-Paul Savoie. Les deux escargots et le deuil de la feuille d'automne is interpreted by three members of the company; Chantal Cadieux, Abra Lagacé and Chantal Baudouin. The next part of the creative process is scheduled for June and August 2014. A school tour is planned for the 2015-2016 artistic season.

2014 Recital

The year-end Recital will take place on Sunday, May 25th, 2014 at the Jeanne-de-Valois Theatre at the University of Moncton.

The purpose of the DansEncorps Recital is to bring the artistic experience of the dancer to a climax through stage experience of professional quality. It is important to us that it is a memorable occasion for the dancers. Thus, we encourage mutual support and respect between the dancers to create a positive, enjoyable and non-competitive atmosphere.

Tickets will be on sale through the Greater Moncton ticketing network (UdeM sociocultural activities) as of Saturday, May 10th, 2014
